Happy dias

Congrats to my hostel for getting wifi back online – they now have TWO electricity cables instead of one so the lights stop flickering when the washing machines work – as I was explained yesterday when internet just broke away without any pre-warning…

While I thought to sleep in until 8 — firework woke me up at 6.30. Right after the church bells of the small church around the corner – which is (pics will follow) my new favourite church, at least at night.

Before having been thrown offline yesterday, I wrote quite a bit… and prepared pics. They lack a few days behind but will go on with that. Who knows how long the net holds and while every cafe in town offers free wifi (yes, indeed this is not Germany) I am not so keen on carrying my pc around town.

Will do the tour of the villages surrounding San Cristobal today. Heard from hostel-mate B. (waiting for your facebook contact and hope your trip goes well, I could tell from the noise sometime tonight it did start out on time…) that she was not so impressed yesterday as not so much was going on. Well the guide said they are preparing for —– today.

😀      Should I wear my skull-necklace????? Won’t be able to think this over before the next fireworks start, so far every 15 minutes. We’re talking about noise here, not optics, it’s like — Böller, Salutschüsse, Bummbumm & Bazinga.

😀
